Welcome to the forest, my home, my happy place.

 Over six years ago, my dreams became a reality when my husband and I left the city and moved to a 10-acre hobby farm in a forest, up in the mountains. Now I spend my days living and playing among the trees, in the forest. This is my happy place.

Home is where the heart is, and my home is in the heart of the forest.

I feel gratitude for this way of life, as it teaches me to slow down, to feel gratitude, and to be present each and every day. Trading city conveniences for forest-living does have challenges, as nature is untamed and unpredictable. My experiences of nature continue to push me out of my comfort zone and provide me with opportunities for growth.
